Black and Brown communities were hardest hit by the COVID-19, but the official messages weren’t reaching them. So we partnered with street artists to deface their own murals as a grassroots message to mask up and cover our community. The initial investment of one woman’s stimulus check has earned over 118 Million Media Impressions including features on NPR and CNN, a Partnership on YouTube’s official “Do it for them. Do it for you” PSA, A Fast Company World Changing Idea, Five One Show Shortlists, and a Gold Shorty Social Good Award.
